About
MUMAC is the professional espresso coffee machine museum. It was established by Gruppo Cimbali in October 2012, on the occasion of the company’s centenary celebrations.

As well as the machines, the museum also boasts an archive of 15,000 documents that have been catalogued, digitalised, and made available to the public via touchscreen displays installed in every room.

The exhibition suggests a path divided into six historical periods, depicting the fascinating chronological phases of an intense century during which the coffee machine underwent profound changes as it adapted to the changing culture and customs of our society.

Each of the six exhibition areas refers to a period of twenty years of the last century, in order to systematically recreate recontruct not only the evolution of coffee machine design and technology, but also the socio-cultural context in which the machines were conceived.
